MLA International Bibliography
Searches for scholarly books, articles and dissertations on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics, from 1926.
JSTOR
Provides full-text access to selected scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences, from 1665.
Literature Online (LION)
A literary database of poetry, prose and drama in English. Content includes MLA and The Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature (ABELL). Limit: 4 users.
Project MUSE
Search the full-text, high quality, peer-reviewed humanities and social sciences journals, from 1963. Links to selected articles in back issues in JSTOR.

Periodicals Archive Online Foundation Collection
Archive of digitised academic journals published in the arts, humanities and social sciences, from first issue to the end of 2000, or final issue.
Periodicals Index Online: PIO
PIO is an international index to millions of articles published in over 6,000 periodicals in the humanities and social sciences as far back as 1665. Every article in each journal is indexed, from volume 1 issue 1 to recent times. Includes periodicals in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and other Western languages.

Search for topic words or the "Title of the Article" (within quotation marks). E.g.:

Gordon, Peter E. "Out From Huis Clos: Sartre, Levinas and the Debate over Jewish Authenticity." Journal of Romance Studies 6.1/2 (2006): 155-68. Print.

Or,

Search the title (e.g. Journal of Romance Studies) in the Library Catalogue, limited to Journals, to see if the Library holds the volume (e.g. 183) and issue (e.g. 1/2, if given) the article was published in. Choose Get It for paper copies or View It for online access.

Catalogue
