Because clothing and textiles research may involve several subject areas, relevant books and print journals or magazines may be located at the Science Library, Health Sciences Library and the Central Library.

The Science collection focuses on the structure, function and manufacturing of fibre, yarns and fabrics. Many of these books have call numbers that start with TS or TT. Print journals related to textiles are on the 2nd Floor.
The Health Sciences collection focuses on exercise, exercise physiology and interventions for minimising injury.
The Central collection focuses on the social and cultural nature of dress, including aspects related to gender and psychology. Books on social aspects of dress are usually classified with call numbers GT500-GT2370.
