The Harper's Weekly websites provides electronic access to the Library of Congress collection of a wide range of American Political images, including many relating to American relations with Britain.
British Cartoon Archive This link opens in a new window
The British Cartoon Archive holds collections by over three hundred cartoonists. Many of these have been digitised and catalogued, and can be found among the 170,000 digitised items on the BCA website.

Dr. Seuss Went to War: A Catalog of Political Cartoons by Dr. Seuss
From 1941 to 1943 Theodor Seuss Geisel - “Dr. Seuss” - was chief editorial cartoonist for the New York newspaper PM, drawing over 400 editorial cartoons.

Over 25,000 cartoons (originals and copies), from the 1860s to the present. The great majority are by New Zealand cartoonists. They cover politics, social issues, economics, sport, culture, history, international issues, etc.

The New Zealand Cartoon Gallery was formed in early 2002 to showcase New Zealand's world class cartoonists.

Cartoons and background information from the seven presidential elections in the United States from 1860-1912. The cartoons are taken from the Library of Congress collection, plus Harper's Weekly, Vanity Fair, Frank Leslie's Illustrated Weekly, and Puck.
Punch Cartoon Library This link opens in a new window
Punch, magazine of humour and satire, ran from 1841-2002. Its political and social cartoons swayed governments, capturing life from the 19th and 20th centuries.
National Library of New Zealand Images Collection This link opens in a new window
Digital copies of selected paintings, drawings and prints (including cartoons) can be found in this online database of NZ heritage images. Tip: Use the Advanced search to find Subjects like: artoons (Commentary) and Politicians and limit to Online.
Heritage images from the Alexander Turnbull Library, at the National Library of New Zealand. Currently Timeframes contains over 20,000 heritage images and is growing every day. You can gain access to the images and information about them. The Timeframes database includes items of cultural value to Māori people and other New Zealanders.
