Detailed searching involves:
Search more precisely by selecting which field you wish to search or select Anywhere to search across all fields.
A search as Keyword will look for all your search terms.
A search as Any of these Keywords will look for any of your search terms.
A search as Exact Phrase will look for all your search terms in the order you have specified.
You can search for a known item by its Reference Code e.g. Misc-MS-0037 or P91-004/2 or Eph-0012-TX-D, or by its Accession Number e.g. 11,593
Create more complex searches by limiting results by exact date or a date range, and collection.
When you have found a relevant item on your topic, look for similar items using its Subject links.
Click on the title of the item to bring up the full record.
Scroll down to the Subject. Click on the most useful subject heading for your topic.
You can also find related material by using the Creator, Place and Names links.
