Engagement Advisors at the Library

The University and its Library system, can be a daunting environment. The Library's Engagement Advisors are knowledgeable, friendly and available to support Māori and Pacific students access and explore Library services, resources and spaces.

Studying off campus?

  • Students studying through College of Education from a distance are welcome to use the Distance service to access Library resources.
  • This distance service caters for students that are studying at a distance permanently or temporarily while on placement or doing fieldwork. 

Are you new to the University of Otago and its Libraries?

If you are, there is a guide to all the basic information (e.g. Library card, library hours, how many books you can get out, etc.) as well as some tips for searching the Library's physical collection and online collection.

And please don't forget to ask the Library staff at the Service Desk.
