Try searching:

Access to eBooks

Search Library Search | Ketu for eBooks.  Use the 'Books' and 'Available online' filters to limit your results to eBooks.

Note:

  • Some eBooks will let you download them while some may only be read online.
  • There are limits on how many pages you may print or copy - each eBook provider will indicate what the limits are.

On-campus students can browse the shelves for books. Commerce-related books and other resources are held in a number of libraries on the Dunedin campus including:

If the book you are looking for is NOT held by Otago ...

Try these options:


If you want a chapter from a book that Otago holds...

You may choose to place a Scan Request for the chapter.  It will be scanned and sent to your email as a pdf attachment.

Requesting a book that the Library holds

Distance students may request books be sent to them for FREE.

To do this:

  1. Log into Library Search | Ketu
  2. Find the book you would like to request
  3. Click the 'Available in the Library' tab
  4. Click the 'Request' link
  5. Select the 'Pick up location' to be 'home address'
  6. Click 'Request'

The book will be couriered to you with a freepost return address sticker for you to use when you return the book.

NOTE: Books cannot be sent to students living overseas.
