Sign In

Sign in - available from the Library Homepage, or top right on the Simple Search or Advanced Search screens.

Guest access - is available whenever you are in a temporary or current search session, but not signed in.

You can view:

  • Saved Items - selected items for email, print, save, export
  • My Account - change Personal Settings for number of search results per page
  • Queries - your search history for this session

Sign in - offers ongoing access to your Saved Items, Search queries, and My Account

Select your user group    

              

  Otago staff and students - enter your Username and Password

  All other clients  - enter your library ID card barcode as your Username, then   Password

  Tick the box to authenticate your log in. Continue        
 

At the Digital ID Card screen click to Confirm your details. You are now Signed in:

My Account

My Account - sign in for ongoing access to: 

  • Loans - Active loan titles by title, author, due date, time, potential fines (once overdue), Library location, and Status; List of Historic Loans
  • Renewals - How to Renew a book

  • Requests - awaiting fulfilment - formerly known as Recalls, CallSlips and Holds

  • Fines & Fees - includes charges owing. Check Borrowing entitlements.
  • Blocks & Messages
  • Personal Settings - set number of search results per page

Saved Items:

  • Retain saved items for email, print, save, export

  • Select record/s then drag over a folder to manage storage of items

Queries:

  • This session's search history
