AudioVisual Collections @ the Library

The AV Collections are distributed throughout libraries across campus, and all items are listed in the catalogue. They include:

  • Feature films
  • Documentaries
  • TV series
  • Music and much more

DVDs and BluRays are interfiled with books in the main and reserve collections in the relevant library. VHS tapes for all are available in the the reserve on the first floor of the Central Library.

AV viewing/listening facilities are available in group study rooms in Central, Robertson, Science and Medical libraries.

Digital Video for Education: eTV

eTV is an online video service for use in education in Aotearoa New Zealand.

It gives access to programmes, documentary and feature films recorded off-air from domestic and international television channels and internet channels. These can be viewed and downloaded under the terms and conditions of the Screenrights Licensing Scheme.

It includes documentaries from National Geographic and Animal Planet.
