Before you import references from a database ensure your EndNote library is open.
Select the references by clicking the tick boxes displayed next to them. You can export up to 200 references at a time. If you have more than 200 you will have to export in batches (Type in 1-200 in the Select Range box, and so on).
Once you have made your selections, scroll up to the top of the results list. Select Export.
In the pop-up window, select EndNote in the Format drop-down list.
Under Fields, select an option according to how much detail you require for each reference. We recommend a minimum of citation and abstract.
Include options:
Tick the External Resolver box to include the Article Link .
Untick the URL box .
Click the Export button.
The way your computer handles the file is determined by your browser settings. If you are prompted to save or open the file, save it to a location on your computer you will remember (such as Downloads). If you are not prompted, the file will be saved to your Downloads folder automatically. EndNote may open automatically and import the references.
Clicking on the file should import the references into EndNote. Contact us if this isn’t working.
