UpToDate: now available to ALL students off campus

UpToDate is an evidence-based, physician-authored clinical decision support resource for use at the point-of-care. More than 6,000 world-renowned physician authors, editors, and peer reviewers use a rigorous editorial process to synthesize the most recent medical information into trusted, evidence-based recommendations that are proven to improve patient care and quality.

UpToDate is now available to ALL students off-campus through the new student desktop. To connect to the new desktop from off campus, go to www.otago.ac.nz/studentdesktop.

DynaMed

DynaMed is a clinical reference tool created by physicians for physicians and other health care professionals for use at the point-of-care.

DynaMed editors monitor the content of over 500 medical journals on a daily basis, with clinically-organized summaries for more than 3,400 topics. Each article is evaluated for clinical relevance and scientific validity. The new evidence is then integrated with existing content, and overall conclusions are changed as appropriate, representing a synthesis of the best available evidence.
