Mendeley - Beyond the Basics

If you are using a public computer, or a computer that does not have the Mendeley software installed, you can access your library through the Mendeley webpage. From here you can read and annotate your PDFs, as well as sort, organise, and edit your references. Any changes you make will be synced with the desktop version of your Mendeley library.

1. Log in to your account at www.mendeley.com
2. Click on Sign In at the top of the page:
3. Once you have signed in, go to the Library tab at the top of the page:
4. From here you can access all of your references and PDFs.

Mendeley Web offers some additional functionality that isn’t available from the desktop / mobile application. Please contact us if you would like further information on any of these:

• You can use Mendeley Web as a research-focussed social media platform with Mendeley Feed.
• You can search and apply for jobs, get job alerts, and upload your CV to the Mendeley Careers page.
• Access the feed of any group you own or belong to from the Groups page. You can use this feature to communicate with members of your group, post updates, attach documents and manage members.
• Search and apply for local and international funding opportunities for a vast range of research areas from the Funding page.
• Store and share your datasets with Mendeley Data.
