Postgraduate Introduction to Library Services and Resources: Endnote

Session description

2022 EndNote workshops will be offered jointly by ITS and Library staff, from February to November.

The hands-on Zoom workshops use EndNote to store, group, edit and annotate references, and cite while you write.

This EndNote: Key Functions workshop covers a Basic level introduction to EndNote:

  • How to set up an EndNote library
  • Add or Export references from the Library databases, including fulltext
  • Generate in-text citations and a bibliography using Word (or Cite while you Write), in a recommended citation style.
  • Use groups to organise your references, and 
  • How to back up your Library.

The EndNote: Advanced Functions workshop covers:

  • Sync functionality
  • Check for software updates
  • Share a library or group with others
  • Print a bibliography
  • Edit Preferences
  • Import & annotate files
  • Add & edit output styles
  • Add Journal Term Lists
