Combine search result rows using OR, AND, and NOT. For further information on Boolean operators, including a word of caution about using NOT, see 'Build Your Search Stratety: Combine' in the Search Tips guide.
1. First, combine the Subject Heading and keyword results for one search concept at a time using the Boolean operator OR.
In the example below, the combined search lines for the concepts melanoma and palliative care appear in the rows 8 and 9,respectively.
2. Now, combine the new search lines together with AND. As seen in the second example below, this produces 248 results.
