A Beginner's Guide to Using EndNote

EndNote is a tool that helps you store and organise the articles and references you need for your work or study. When you are writing, you can use EndNote to generate your in-text citations and bibliography (reference list) in the style you choose.

EndNote can handle large numbers of references and long documents.

This guide is designed for PC users.

If you are using EndNote on a Mac, there are some differences in how it will look, but the functionality is essentially the same.

There are some issues with EndNote X9 loaded onto Macs. Mac users should contact the Reference Team before installing EndNote X9 or migrating from EndNote X8 to EndNote X9.
