Looking for Academic Literature?

Below are the four best places to start searching for academic literature on your topic.  Explore the tabs along the top for even more options.

APA Style has a new look!

However, if you have begun your research using APA 6th, don't assume that you have to upgrade, - check with your lecturer or supervisor to see what they expect. At this stage, Endnote does not have an APA 7th output, and neither do the databases.

The following links and examples are based on more detailed information in the Publication manual of the American Psychological Association.

APA is the publishing style established by the American Psychological Association. APA style is used in all of the books and journals that the association publishes, and is widely adopted in the social and behavioural sciences.

If your Dept provides information about APA that differs from what you find on the APA website or APA publications, please consult your tutor, lecturer or department before deciding what version to use.
