The Biomedical Sciences Guide

Nau mai, haere mai! Welcome to the Biomedical Sciences Subject Guide. This guide will provide you with access to a range of key library and information resources to aid your studies/research in Biomedical Sciences. You can navigate this guide using the tabs across the top.

The majority of the print Biomedical Sciences resources can be found in the Health Sciences Library located opposite Dunedin Hospital in the Sayers Building and in the Science Library on Cumberland Street.

  • 25 Oct - Researcher Profiles - Building an online profile to promote your research, and yourself.

  • 31 Oct Getting published - Practical tips for postgraduates. Learn how to develop a publishing strategy and identify the right journals for submission. 
  • 2 Nov Impact Metrics - Understand tools that explain impact factors and ranking for what to read, and where to publish.
