Research Services Unit: Visualising Bibliometric Networks

Service aim: To create network visualisations for bibliometrics that may use journal, researcher, or publication data to construct networks based on citation, bibliographic coupling, co-citation, or co-authorship relations using free tools such as VosViewer and CiteSpace.

Service status: On request via Subject Librarian or email

Outcome: Bibliometric network visulisations can be used for a variety of purposes such as mapping citation patterns, co-authorship relationships, or collaboration. They can also be used to create key term visualisations that can help determine popular areas of research or where there are gaps in the literature.
