CAUL (Council of Australian University Librarians) are handling the approval (i.e. to qualify for the discount) so there is nothing that Otago /you as the corresponding author has to do. Using your institutional email address when submitting is important to identify you as from Otago.
Royal Society of Chemistry. For 2023, the RSC is offering a 15% discount on APCs for hybrid journals only, which will be automatically applied to the APC upon article acceptance, where the corresponding author uses their Otago email address.
